I suggest you ...

Allow for different work/rest lengths - each interval increasing or decreasing by a set time

e.g. start with 2:30 work/1:30 rest with -0:15 on work. Then next work interval is 2:15, then 2:00 and so on.

e.g. start with 2:00 work/1:00 rest with +0:15 on rest. Then next rest interval is 1:15 then 1:30 and so on.

This would be perfect for breath hold training.

        Thanks Giorgio,
today while working out i was wanting to vary both interval time components. that way i could enter each interval seperately, eg, interval 1: 1min work/2 min rest
        interval 2: 30 sec work/45 seconds rest
        interval 3: 90 secs work/90 secs rest
        etc
        Thanks for your consideration,

        Kevin

        yeah, like a pyramid:
        2"workout with 1"break, then 4"/2", 6"/3",8"/4".....
it's very usefull on my activity (kayaking)
sorry for my english i'm french...

You need the option to set rest period BETWEEN work out sets. For example 30 sec. workout/ 30 sec. rest for say 5 sets then 1 min. rest period followed by 5 more sets of 30/30

my only suggestion to this suggestion is to make the time component completely customizable as opposed to a set time, or have the option of doing it both ways, by adding or subtracting user set time to work and likewise to rest or setting each individual work and rest period to your own time which might reflect a non-consistent time change in each of the periods.
